I am a third generation goldsmith :
Jewelry is in my blood.
I create simple, elegant, and tactile pieces.
My jewelry is hand forged and fabricated with my own
two hands from initial rendering to final finish.
My current collection marries 24 karat pure gold and
silver in my modern and more durable method
of the ancient Korean technique of Keum-boo.
I utilize thicker gold and higher heat for bonding to
create pieces that can withstand more wear, and
therefore use keum-boo in a novel way.
In the age of machines I pause and create with my
hands.
In an era of disposability I blink and try to make
something that is both timeless and relevant now.
Some jewelry outlives us all.
I strive to be outlived by my own.
